The Life of Thomas Kinne
The Grafton Historical Society is pleased to present “The Life of Thomas Kinne”, a fireside chat presented by former GHS President, Craig Ruggles.
The program will be held in the historic Homestead Room (across from the Grafton Inn, on Main St.) from 2PM – 4PM. Wine and cheese will be served and admission is by donation.

The life of Thomas Kinne. From Preston New London CT to Grafton, VT. Thomas was one of the first to buy land and settle in Grafton in 1779. Within a year he was a majority land owner as a resident in the town. This presentation will touch on his ancestors and descendants, one of which still resides in the village of Grafton today as well as his land holdings and the “Sad tale” of his second wife Eunice Twogood
